The V.2 adapter is suitable for all Lenses without aperture preview control, it is NOT suitable for Pentax Takumar lens (Fotodiox V.1 adapter is made for Takumar lenses). The enlarged lip of the Version 2 adapter is designed to depress the aperture pin of the lens to allow full aperture control on most M42 lenses.
